I originally came to Murfreesboro in 1976; after a few detours I have lived here since 1981.  In these 30+ years I have seen many changes in my hometown.  Once a “suitcase” college community that was a virtual ghost town during summer & holidays we have evolved into a vibrant destination city exploding with growth.  I feel I have had a bird’s eye view of this growth as I have traveled the roads of Tennessee.  My first career was in banking serving as a Bank Auditor traveling to banks in TN, KY & AL and later as an Operations Officer.  My first venture into business ownership was a local delivery service called Dash Deliveries which I owned and operated from 1987 to 1993.  After selling my company I became a sales representative in the transportation industry covering all of middle Tennessee until 2003.  I have watched as cotton fields and cow pastures became subdivisions, retail centers and freeways.
